Zeke Sarmenta on parents Romnick Sarmenta and Harlene Bautista: "Walang nagbago sa amount of love na ibinigay sa amin ng magulang namin and even with each other."

"Pero I’m with my mindset na I’m here to promote my movie and promote myself and to represent our film.

“So, to me, kung anumang other question yun, it’s not my agenda today.”

Sagot niya, “I think it would be a little different kasi, honestly, walang nagbago sa amount of love na ibinigay sa amin ng magulang namin and even with each other. They’re friends.

“For me, it’s different, but not in an emotional level.”

ENTERING SHOWBIZ

Saad, “Opo. I also have that clear mind na yung pressure that both my parents are known actors, paano kung hindi ako to that standard?

"Pero what my parents always told me is, as long as you do your best and you're having a good time and you’re giving your all and you’re not hurting anybody, okey na yun.

Paliwanag ng dalaga, “Ah, no, no, my parents are very supportive with what I want to do.

"Sabihin ko man na gusto kong mag-painting, mag-archery, papayag sila.

"As long as it’s not harmful to anybody at alam nila na masaya talaga ako doon, todo-suporta sila.

"And yung pointers nga po when it comes to acting, yun ang importante talaga."

"Pinu-focus ko po ang school and, of course, taking care of my siblings.

“So it was never my first priority, pero may interest po talaga."

Dagdag pa ni Zeke, “I think, to a certain degree, they always knew po.

"Kasi when I was younger, I would watch my parents perform in theater.

"I always love theater and I wanted to be like my mom kasi, e.

“Si Papa po kasi, mas nakikita ko siya on TV, and iba talaga ang acting on both.

"I love both pero yung theater po kasi iba talaga yung dynamics ng acting, iba yung level.

"So I have respect for both artforms.”

“Pero I have good relationship with both of my parents.

“With Dad, thankfully, yung pananalita ang nakuha ko.

"My dad is very... pag mag-iisip siya, sobrang thorough, sobrang klaro. Thankfully, nakuha ko yun minsan.

"With my mama naman, grabe yung maternal instinct ko. I’ve learn that from Mama."
