20 Firsts in 2016 Philippine Election

A few days after the May 9, 2016 elections, a lot of winners had been proclaimed.

Rodrigo Duterte already discussed his initial plans of giving the Philippine government an overhaul, and promised to become more prim and proper.

The fight between Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo, however, is still ongoing.

As of 3 a.m. today, May 27, Marcos is leading with 13,214,810 votes, while Robredo has 13,131,330 votes.

Never had the race for vice presidency been this tight and intense.

It's a first among the many in this year's election.
