“I became a nurse because, since I was a kid, I love helping people,” sinabi ni Flor nang kapanayamin siya ng The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ang episode na ito ay in-upload sa YouTube channel ng The Ellen Show nitong Miyerkules, December 9.

“The pandemic has changed everything,” sabi ni Flor.

“People who are sick, since they cannot be visited by their family, I will be the one who’s gonna be by their side and let them know that there is this person who loves them.”

“It’s just heartbreaking not to see your family. But I can’t do anything but to be strong for them,” naiiyak na sabi ni Flor.

COVID-19 SURVIVOR

Kuwento niya: “I got COVID back in March.

“I was positive, I have to stop working for months and it has affected me financially.”

Sa ngayon, balik-trabaho na raw si Flor.

Pero dahil nga sa problemang pinansiyal, “me and my husband share a car.”

Kung gamit ng kanyang mister ang kanilang sasakyan, “I sometimes ask my co-workers to pick me up and I walk or sometimes I take Uber,” kuwento ni Flor.

“THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE…THIS IS YOUR CAR.”

“It’s just amazing what you’ve been doing,” sabi ni Ellen kay Flor.

“I know that you and your husband are sharing one car.

“So I’ve partnered with Hyundai and they want to thank you for your service.

“They want to give you this Hyundai Palisade.

“This is your car. No more Ubers for you,” sabi pa ni Ellen, at inutusan si Flor na sumakay sa driver’s seat ng SUV.

Sabi ni Ellen kay Flor: “Just know how much we love you and appreciate you.

“And when you’re exhausted, in those times that you can barely go on anymore, just remember how many people love you and how many people are so grateful for you.

“Thank you for what you do,” ani Ellen.
