"Spiderman" spotted in Marikina for his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Even superheroes need protection. Spiderman shows up at the Marikina City Hall to get his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. The man in the suit was later identified as Alfred Dizon, a Marikina resident, who was scheduled to get his jab last June 14, 2021.

Aprub sa inyong “friendly neighborhood Spiderman” ang pagkakaroon ng COVID-19 vaccine.

Sumipot si “Spiderman” sa city hall ng Marikina City nitong June 14, 2021, para mabigyan na rin ng kanyang first dose ng Sinovac vaccine.

Ikinaaliw naman ng frontliners at mga nagpabakuna ang pagsulpot ni “Spiderman,” na residente sa lungsod.

Ang Marikeño ay kinilalang si Alfred Dizon, na naka-schedule noong araw na iyon para sa kanyang first-dose jab.

Kinunan naman ng Marikina government employee na si Justine Rain Go si Alfred at ipinost ang mga larawan sa Facebook.

"Nung una ko po siya nakita, akala ko nang-trip lang po," mensahe ni Justine sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via messaging noong June 17, 2021.

"Pero nung nilabas niya iyong schedule [form] niya for first-dose vaccination po, nagulat kami.

"Madami po siya napasayang mga tao during and after vaccination po.

"Nakakatuwa po kasi na nag-effort pa talaga siya na mag-costume."

Base sa mga larawan, makikitang ikinagiliw nga ng mga frontliners na isa sa mga babakunahan sa araw na iyon ay si "Spiderman."

Samantala, hilig na talaga ni Alfred na isuot ang costume ng kanyang paboritong Marvel superhero para mapangiti ang mga tao.

Madalas niya rin itong isuot kapag nagmo-motor siya para sa kanyang personal vlogs.

Ibinahagi rin ni Alfred kung bakit malapit sa kanyang puso si Spiderman.

“Why I wear Spiderman is halos pareho kami ng story, I almost lost all of my loved ones, kaya ito iyong naisip ko para mag-cope up sa mga pinagdaanan ko since 2019 and 2020," kuwento ni Alfred sa panayam ng News5.

“Gusto kong magpasaya ng mga tao. Gusto kong magpangiti sa munting paraang alam ko, kasi nakakagaan sa pakiramdam kapag nakakapagpasaya ka ng kapwa mo," dagdag pa niya.
