THE executive producer of the ABS-CBN reality-based talent search Pinoy Dream Academy was found dead in his Quezon City apartment on Friday, media reports said.

Joselito Siervo, 38, was found on a bed inside his apartment unit with at least five stab wounds on his body. His laundrywoman, Nida Canaling, found Siervo in the apartment at 9 a.m. and immediately reported the incident to the police, RPN-9's Newswatch Aksyon Balita reported.

The report said Canaling was able to enter Siervo’s apartment with the help of the latter’s landlord, who had duplicate keys.

According to separate reports aired on ABS-CBN’s dzMM radio, Canaling bore stab wounds in the shoulder, back, arm and knee. It quoted police as saying two unidentified men were seen by witnesses entering Siervo’s unit at around 4 a.m.. Police, however, are still confirming the witness testimonies.

No motive has been established, but Quezon City police are looking at robbery as a possible angle because Siervo’s cell phone was not found in the apartment.
