Nagdadalamhati ang pageant aficionados, kabilang na ang ilang celebrities, sa hindi pagpasok ni Gazini Ganados sa Top 10 ng Miss Universe 2019.

Katatapos lamang ng grand coronation sa Tyler Perry Studios sa Atlanta, Georgia, USA, kung saan hanggang Top 20 lang ang inabot ng kandidata ng Pilipinas.

Ang nagwaging Miss Universe 2019 ay si Zozibini Tunzi ng South Africa.
