Alex Diaz reacts to Supreme Court decision junking same-sex marriage petition

Ikinadismaya ni Alex Diaz ang pagbasura ng Supreme Court sa petisyong gawing legal ang same-sex marriage sa Pilipinas.

Sa desisyong inilabas ng Supreme Court noong December 10, 2019 at naisapubliko nitong January 6, 2020, sinabi ng Kataastaasang Hukuman na walang matibay na argumento ang petitioner upang bawiin ang nauna nilang desisyong ibasura ito.

Nauna na itong ibinasura ng Supreme Court en banc noong September 2019

Sa pamamagitan ng Twitter, ibinahagi ni Alex ang kanyang saloobin tungkol dito.

Umaasa rin siyang darating ang panahong wala nang pinipiling sekswalidad ang pag-ibig.

Sabi ni Alex sa kanyang Twitter post kahapon, January 7 (published as is):

“This is the country we live in. stuck in archaic beliefs that hinder our brothers and sisters the rights they deserve.

"when boomers are finally out of office, lets not let this continue.

"For now, lets choose patience. A time will come when love will be the universal language.”

Noong October 2019, inamin ni Alex na siya ay bisexual matapos siyang i-out ng fitness coach na si Miguel Chanco.

Ayon sa fitness coach, pinadalhan siya ng “indecent proposal ng 25-year-old actor.

Pinalagan ito ni Miguel sa pamamagitan ng pagsasapubliko ng screen shots ng mga mensahe sa kanya ni Alex.
