Nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang reporters sina Enrique at Liza a press conference ng upcoming primetime series nilang Make It With You, na ginanap sa Dolphy Theatre, ABS-CBN Compound, nitong Huwebes, January 9, 2020.

LIZA APPEALS TO THE PRESIDENT

Aniya, “Words for the President? Oh my gosh..."

Pero patuloy ng aktres, “I believe that he’s understanding. I believe alam naman niyang maraming maaapektuhan.

“It’s not just the company itself, but all the employees.

“And I’m sure he has a generous heart and an understanding heart.

“So I hope he wakes up one morning and he thinks about it, and then maging bukas ang puso niya sa lahat ng smaller employees na nangangailangan ng trabaho.”

Sagot niya, “All I have to say, ang iniisip ko lang, yung mabababang posisyon, but I don’t really know...

“But, you know, I don’t know what to say…

“Siyempre, nasasaktan din ako.

“There’s a possibility any time na matuloy [na hindi ma-renew].”

Sundot pa ni Liza, “Because this is the company that we grew up with.”

Pahabol ni Enrique, “We’ve been here a long time.

“I don’t know, man, I just hope for the best...”

Samantala, nagbigay rin ng kanyang pahayag ang writer ng Make It With You na si Mark Angos ukol sa isyu.

Aniya, “We are not privy sa details ngayon with what’s happening.

“But one thing has been assured to us…

“The management and our bosses are always there and assuring us na anuman ang mangyari, magkakapamilya kami dito sa ABS-CBN and we will be taken care of.

"So, the management is asking us to focus on… do what we do best, which is give entertainment and makapagpasaya ng maraming pamilya dito.”

SHARON CUNETA ALSO APPEAS TO THE PRESIDENT

Sa kanyang hiwalay na presscon kahapon, panawagan ni Sharon: "I pray that our dear President reconsiders his decision about ABS-CBN.

"Not just because I just renewed, I can always find a job.

"But everybody I grew up with here who have remained loyal to the station—and have grown up here, have learned from the school of hard rocks here, have become family, good friends—will lose almost everything they've built over the years."
