Ogie Alcasid fully supports no audience policy of ABS-CBN

Ogie Alcasid on no audience policy of ABS-CBN in the time of COVID-19: "We also need to take extra precaution to keep people safe. I am all for it."

Nagbigay ng pahayag ang singer at TV host na si Ogie Alcasid sa "no audience policy" sa ilang programa ng ABS-CBN.

Ang "no audience policy" ay pinairal ng Kapamilya network, simula noong March 10, dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Isa si Ogie sa mga artist ng dalawang Kapamilya musical shows na may live audience—ang ASAP Natin 'To at “Tawag ng Tanghalan” ng It's Showtime.

"Of course, it's time for us really to be sensitive and really pray.

"We also need to take extra precaution to keep people safe.

"I am all for it," sabi ni Ogie sa ipinadala niyang mensahe sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa pamamagitan ng text kahapon, March 13.

Nag-post din si Ogie sa kanyang Instagram account ng mensahe sa publiko tungkol sa "no audience policy" sa mga programang kinabibilangan niya sa Kapamilya network at mag-enjoy sa panonood sa kanya sa kanilang mga tahanan.

"Let us all give you a bit of joy through entertainment at the comfort of your homes, dear Kapamilya. Panandalian lang naman po ito," bungad ng caption ni Ogie sa piktyur na ipinost niya.

Kasunod nito, hinikayat niya ang mga Pinoy na huwag paibabawin ang takot bagkus ay manalangin sa Diyos.

"Meanwhile, let us not live in fear but in faith through prayer. God bless you all po and be safe."

POSTPONED CONCERT

Isa rin si Ogie maraming artists na may naka-schedule na concerts ngayong Marso, pero nag-announce ng postponement.

Ito ay ang concert nila ni Ian Veneracion, ang KilaboTitos, na nakatakda sana sa March 20 at 21 sa New Frontier Theater.

"I was the one who decided on it," pahayag ni Ogie

Ang entertainment company nina Ogie na A Team kasi ang producer ng concert.

Samantala, may reaksiyon din Ogie bilang sa community quarantine na ipatutupad sa Metro Manila simula sa March 15.

"We just have to be prepared," pakli niya.
