Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si Miss Earth 2011 Olga Alava.

Pero sa pinakabago niyang update, sinabi ng Ecuadorian beauty queen na bumubuti na ang kanyang pakiramdam.

Si Olga ay kinoronahang Miss Earth 2011 dito sa Pilipinas.

Ginanap ang grand coronation sa University of the Philippines Theatre sa UP Diliman, Quezon City, noong December 3, 2011.

OLGA’S ADVICE ABOUT COVID-19

Noong April 2, nag-post si Olga sa Instagram para ianunsiyong nagpositibo siya sa coronavirus.

Nagbigay rin siya ng payo tungkol sa pandemic na ngayon ay kinakaharap sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

Diin ni Olga, huwag hayaang lumala pa ang mga sintomas bago kumonsulta sa doktor.

Post ni Olga sa wikang Spanish, na translated sa Ingles: “Today my test resulted positive and I would like to share a few things with you.

“My best advice: don't wait until you have severe symptoms to ask for help.

“In time, everything will be much easier.

"NO MORE SYMPTOMS"

Nitong Huwebes, April 9, nag-update ang Ecuadorian beauty queen isang linggo matapos niyang malamang positibo siya sa COVID-19.

Ayon sa kanyang translated post: “Day 16 since the first symptom. And there are no more symptoms!

“I no longer suffocate and I have recovered my taste and smell. I feel good, THANK YOU!

“I thank God and ask for those who suffer from symptoms that can be treated in their homes and can take action on time.

“THANK YOU to all who sent their messages, giving advice and keeping me company virtually.

“I value it very much.

“Never lose faith that we can cope with this virus, let's not let our guard down, support as we can and keep taking care of ourselves.”

Ang Ecuador ang pang-23 sa mga bansang may pinakamataas na bilang ng COVID-19 cases.

As of April 11, sa Ecuador ay mayroong higit sa 7,000 confirmed cases; 297 na nag namamatay.

Samantala, ngayong Sabado, April 11, halos 1,700,000 na ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa buong mundo.

Higit sa 102,000 na ang namamatay, at higit sa 376,000 na ang nakaka-recover.
