Komento ni Rustia sa kanyang Twitter post noong May 6: “Im sorry @gmanetwork, my home network, but last night’s report did sound one sided.

“If fair journalism was the goal, you should have interviewed someone without vested interest on either side.”

Nakasaad sa pahayag: “GMA News’ 24 Oras has always maintained fairness in its news reports, including that on ABS-CBN’s current franchise issue."

Dagdag pa sa pahayag, “ABS-CBN has constantly and consistently been given the opportunity to respond to issues raised against it.

"Since the cease and desist order was issued, GMA has been in contact with Kane Choa (Head, ABS-CBN Integrated Corporate Communications)."

Pagtatapos pa ng statement, "On the evening of May 7, ABS-CBN sent its statement in response to FICTAP’s allegations.

"This was immediately aired at length on 24 Oras the same night.

24 Oras hopes that this clarifies the matter.”

Ang FICTAP, o Federation of International Cable TV and Telecommunications Association of the Philippines, ay isang non-profit organization na binubuo ng 1,000 small and medium cable operators sa Pilipinas.
