Aniya, "I'm still confused whether I'm bisexual or pansexual, because I really don't mind what or who a person identifies as, as long as we vibe and have a connection, I'm all good."

IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A TRANS MAN

"But with the help of my current partner, who's a transman, I guess we'll figure that out soon in the future.

"The most important thing at this moment is just focusing on that person, the connection, and the growth that will come from that."

Lahad ng bueaty queen mula sa Tagum City: "I guess, officially on social media, I came out on our Ashtie Nights interview.”

Kuwento pa niya sa PEP.ph: "I just casually blurted it out, kasi sanay na ako sa tao in our hometown sa Davao Del Norte na alam nilang bi ako.

"Aside from that, the atmosphere sa interview na yun was so comfortable, and I felt like I could share anything that time, so ayun hahahaha."

Lahad niya: "I actually never really thought of 'officially' coming out.

"I felt like I was already out naman kasi.

"I guess, kasi sa sobrang comfy ko nung interview na yun, I just shared a part of me so casually like that.

"I'm the type of person who's open, but it'll take a while for you to know me talaga."

TRANS woman sister

Dire-diretsong paliwanag ni Weam: "I grew up in an environment where things like this is normal, actually, most especially sa bahay.

"My sister is a transwoman kasi.

"And mom encourages and supports a lot of things sa amin magkakapatid, no matter how weird, basta as long as you maintain a good spirit and heart lang.

"I guess that's an advantage sa amin—na pinalaki kami sa ganitong paraan.

"Aware ako na andami ring nahihirapan maglabas ng identity nila because they grew up in such a conservative environment.

"And I'm thankful na my mom gave me this courage to be who I am unapologetically and courageously."

ACCEPTANCE OF LGBTQ MEMBERS ON PAGEANTS

Huhu! I was so happy when I read the news and the posts!

"Sobrang nakakaproud. We're taking a big step towards us being recognized and more accepted na.

"I know na it's an inspiration to other people to not be afraid to be who they are anymore, or give them enough courage to themselves without fear.

"We're all vying for the crown naman, we wouldn't be here if nakikipaglaro lang kami hahaha that goes for me too.

"I'm hoping to be able to get into top 15, and after that, ako na bahala."

"Wouldn't have this much confidence to say that if it weren't for the endless support of my team, loved ones, and the whole DavNor province.

"Bitbit ko ang lakas and confidence sa stage because of all of them."

Sabi niya: "There will come a time, where the universe will give you the tools and open a path for you to grow into that person that you are meant to be in this world.

"Courageously and fiercely. Unapologetically.

"Be proud and loudly stand as who you are when that time comes."

Aniya, "Nothing will ever bring you down as long as you know who you are, because by being that, you will also be that tool and path for another person to have the courage to realize who they are as well."
