In a Facebook post today, November 21, Senator Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Nagpositibo ang senador na si Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, 58, sa COVID-19.

Si Dela Rosa mismo ang nag-anunsyo sa balita sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook post Sabado ng umaga, November 21.

Base sa kanyang post, nag-positibo si Dela Rosa noong Biyernes, November 20.

Saad ng senador (published as is), “I am sorry to inform u that I tested positive for covid19 yesterday. To all who made contact with me pls do the approp protocols.”

Ayon sa staff ni Dela Rosa, mayroong ubo at sipon ang senador.

Ang kanyang panganay na anak ay nagpositibo rin daw sa virus, subalit siya ay asymptomatic.

Naka-attend pa si Dela Rosa ng ilang senate hearing bago siya nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, nakapunta pa sa Senado si Dela Rosa noong Miyerkules, November 17.

Nakapag-swab antigen test na rin daw ang Senado noong Biyernes at negatibo naman daw si Sotto sa COVID-19.

Si Dela Rosa ang ika-limang senador na nag-positibo sa virus.

Nagkaroon ng COVID-19 sina Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Sonny Angara, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, at Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr., na naka-recover na mula sa virus.
