“Hair flip is life.”

Tinalakay nila ang kontrobersiyal na unilateral termination ng Department of National Defense (DND) sa 30-year-old agreement nito sa University of the Philippines (UP).

THE “CHALLENGE” TWEET

Binasa ni Pinky ang tweet ni Arao: “UP faculty and alumni who are Duterte’s top-level officials should denounce Lorenzana’s letter terminating the 1989 accord.

“This disregards everything that UP stands for.

“Should they remain silent, a six-word question: Where is your honor and excellence?”

Aniya, bagamat siya ay UP alumnus, “I’m also presidential spokesperson.

“It doesn’t [make me silent about the issue] and I’m not duty-bound to follow anything that Professor Arao says,” may diing sagot ni Roque.

ROQUE LOSES HIS COOL

“The question on Arao was unfair,” kumpronta ni Roque kay Pinky.

“In the first place, why am I duty-bound to follow anything that Professor Arao says?

“You made it appear as if it’s compulsory for me to follow him.

“I spent more time in UP than him.”

Aniya, “Spox, don’t get me wrong…”

“You were wrong.

“You were implying that I have to follow what Danny Arao has said.

“What is the basis for that?"

Pero muling sumingit si Roque: “You said I have to follow him and if I did not do as he did then I have no honor or excellence? Is that a fair question?”

Natatawang sumagot si Pinky, “No, I didn’t say that, Secretary Roque.”

Nagpatuloy si Roque: “That’s what he said. And I’m calling you out for that.”

PINKY CALMLY FLIPS HER HAIR

Giit ni Roque: “You were pushing the point.

“You were going beyond asking for my reaction.

“You have to be fair, ano?”

“I am trying to be fair, Secretary Roque,” diin niya.

“No, you’re not,” singit uli ni Roque. “You were not.”

Tipid na napangiti na lang si Pinky.

Patuloy ni Roque: “It’s as if, if I don’t agree with Arao that I have no sense of excellence or honor.”

Mabilis na salag ni Pinky: “Absolutely not, I never meant that. Please don’t think that, Secretary Roque."

NETIZENS LAUD PINKY’S PROFESSIONALISM, BASH ROQUE
