Paliwanag ni Rachel, "No, kasi for me, there's so much more than that.

"In my case, for instance, hindi ko naiisip na gawin yun sa asawa ko, sa boyfriend ko. Never pa akong nag-cheat.

"Not because of anything else, I think hindi ko kayang manakit."

"But it happened in the past that a boyfriend, actually [there's a] number of occasions that boyfriends have cheated on me and napatawad ko.

"I guess, that's how it is, nandun ako sa hanay na yun. Di ba, there a lot of women na very understanding? Isa ako dun.

"Sa akin, nowadays kasi, it's not an issue anymore.

"I think, more than anything else, honesty is important, and the fact na maaasahan mo yung tao.

"I think, even more than fidelity, yung monogamy na tinatawag, even way more than that, for me it's the fact na you know the person has your back.

Sabi pa niya sa PEP.ph: "Whenever I think of Carlos, I think of him as someone who has my back.

"There was a point last year that I started to question, even when I talk to my dad, the prospect of singers, live performance was so bleak.

"But I knew kahit ano pa man ang mangyari sa akin, kahit di pa siguro ako kumanta ng ilang taon, alam ko that Carlos will be there for me, will take care of me.

"Not because mag-asawa kami. He's a kind person, he's reliable, he's a responsible human being.

RACHEL'S LONG-DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP WITH HUSBAND

"I think naman he knew naman that it's coming.

"Actually, the pandemic was the longest time na nagkasama kami, kasi lagi rin kaming apart," pag-amin ni Rachel.

Lahad pa niya: "Actually, most part of the ten years, hindi talaga kami magkasama, sad to say.

"There was a time he lived in Bangkok, we lived in New York for a little while.

"But before we got married, lagi rin akong alis nang alis.

"Few years ago, lagi rin akong nandito to do musicals, shooting, di ba, when I was shooting Quezon's Game," paliwanag pa ni Rachel.

In a way, sanay na siya.

"But this was the longest time na di talaga kami nagkita, like you said, six months.

"But I'm going home for the holidays. I'm going home for Christmas."

CONFIDENT THAT HER HUSBAND IS FAITHFUL

Patuloy niya, "Because I know him so well, di ko naiisip na there would be third party or nambababae or anything like that. That's out of the question.

"If you knew him, you would agree with me.

"Basta that's what he always says about me, I'm very reliable."

"Maybe, I think, just ten years of knowing each other, we can trust each other.

"But one very, very important thing sa akin, dahil ayokong nag-iisip na may nangyaring masama sa kanya, kailangan hindi lumalabas ang certain number of hours na hindi niya nasasagot yung mga messages, ganyan.

"Kasi, after so many hours, it's not because na naiisip ko na, 'Baka nambababae ito.'

So far naman, I'm happy that he kept safe."

NEW ALBUM UNDER STAR MUSIC

Kupido," "Nakapagtataka," "Bulag Sa Katotohanan," at "Kay Tagal."

I will give you one example, yung kanta ni Toni Gonzaga, yung 'Catch Me I've Fallen For You.'

"I feel this album is really a collaboration of a lot of different people."

ON dealing with CHANGE IN VOICE RANGE

"That's right. You can delay that, if you are active and wino-work out mo yung boses mo, lagi kang kumakanta.

"Of course, darating at darating naman yung point, it's hard to say what year it will gonna happen, I can say maybe in your 60s that is going to happen, pero di pare-pareho.

"Since wala akong mga bisyo, wala pa namang ganung nangyayari. Pero, yes, nahirapan din ako to get back into.

"Yung unang araw ko ng pagre-recording, feeling ko for many hours na nasa studio ako, naramdaman ko, 'Uy, teka muna, parang medyo minamalat na yata.'

"Ni-rest ko talaga, di ako nagsalita. Yun pala, parang na-break in lang siya. The next few days na may recording ako, wala nang naging problema.

"Ang importante lang kasi, you know your limits, kilala mo yung sarili mong limitations.

"Dapat nga as they say, you sing within your range.

Although with that said, hindi rin naman imposible na palawakin mo yung range, like, doing exercises, and that's what I do pag may musical akong ginagawa.

"I work with the voice teacher talaga para mapalawak nga yung ginagawa ng boses ko."
