“Doon sa kalusugan niya, you know, I feel a little bit sad,” pahayag ni Mayor Joy.

Hindi man best friends o magkabarkada sina Kris at Mayor Joy, naging schoolmates daw sila during their elementary and college years.

"Noon, ang nanay ko was the editor of a Sunday magazine called Star magazine, a semi-entertainment/lifestyle magazine. And may section doon kung saan binigay niya sa akin, because I was a budding writer myself,” panimulang trivia ni Mayor Joy.

At kami yung nagsusulat from the perspective of a young person.

"So kasama po kami ni Kris in that particular group, ‘no?

“And I will never forget ang una naming ininterbyu ay si Aga Muhlach. E, si Kris, crush ni Kris si Aga. Hahaha!

“And you know, my memory of Kris is, she’s such a bubbly person, such an active and dynamic person ‘coz I follow her Instagram.

“And when I see now parang she has a problem with her auto-immune, I always say a prayer for her because, you know, even when she was seven, she campaigned for her dad. She was such an active person, ‘no? So persuasive, so influential. And I would love to see the old Kris back.”

“So, my message is for her to be strong. Continue to be strong. She has a huge fan base. She has a huge number of friends and public followers.

"And for the sake of all those who care about her, sana alagaan niya ang kanyang sarili.

“I hope to see the day when she will be back on television to do what she loves best, which is to do talk shows. Because there’s no talk show host quite like her. And I think that she deserves to be back on TV. And I look forward to that, really,” diin pa niya.
