Tinulungan ng mga miyembro ng 802nd Infantry (Peerless) Brigade ng Philippine Army ang isang sumukong rebeldeng buntis na manganak sa St. Mary Birthing Center sa Albuera, Leyte noong April 3, 2022.

Babae ang naging anak ng ginang, at ito ang kanilang panganay ng kanyang mister na isa ring rebelde.

Ang ginang at ang kanyang mister ay kusang loob na sumuko sa 93rd Infantry (Bantay Kapayapaan) Battalion, 8th Infantry (Stormtroopers) Division, noong January 13.

Ayon kay Colonel Noel A. Vestuir, Commander ng 802nd IB, anim na buwang buntis ang ginang nang sumuko ang mag-asawang rebelde.

Binigyan ang mga ito ng Army ng pagkakataong mamuhay nang payapa at makapagsimula ng kanilang pamilya.
