Former Miss Universe Philippines titleholder Ariella Arida is excited about the new era of Miss Universe under JKN Global Group: "It's so nice din kasi kapitbahay natin. Kung sino man yung manalo or Philippines will be the winner, we can easily just go there and visit. So it's definitely a game-changer."

Aniya, "It's really a game-changer, di ba? Parang... For like how many decades, it's been with the U.S. and now, it's with Thailand.

"I'm happy 'cause it's with an Asian country as well.

"At the same time, sana we still have a chance. Pero alam ko naman na Miss Universe will always be fair to all the candidates.

"And it's so nice din kasi kapitbahay natin. Kung sino man yung manalo or Philippines will be the winner, we can easily just go there and visit.

"So it's definitely a game-changer.

Sabi ni Ariella, "At some point, parang hindi ko maiwasan na isipin. kasi like, di ba nga, they said nga during Trump [era], parang we're almost there.

"And then, good thing that IMG took charge. And now, it's [iba naman]. Well, but I do hope naman talaga na... if it's really meant to be to win the crown, ibibigay naman yun.

"You know, fair and square game."

BINIBINING PILIPINAS WITHDRAWING FROM MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL

Aniya, "I think, parang we have to get used to it.

"Actually, yung pinakanakaka-heartbroken nga diyan was the Miss Universe na naghiwalay from Binibini, di ba?

"So parang dun pa lang, parang siguro na-train na yung ano natin, mga sarili natin na there would be really...chances na maglilipat-lipatan yung mga pageant.

"Ako naman, at the end of the day, as long as magawa nila nang bongga yung production, from the older owner or organization, make it yung mas malaking improvement, then why not?"

Kuwento ng 33-year-old former beauty queen, "I'll be one of the guest roles. I'm so excited kasi yung role ko, connected din sa pageants."

Dagdag ni Ariella, "Exciting siya in a way, kasi baka akala ng ibang tao masyado siyang mabigat for an afternoon series.

"I think my character would make it a little lighter para naman balance."

"In fairness, I just want to congratulate the whole production at saka, the whole team, kasi ang lakas-lakas nila sa afternoon.

"Ang dami ring... Actually, I was in the set [earlier], dun ako galing.

"And to think, it's a medical series... yung terms, how you memorize yung medical terms, ang hirap niya!

"Kaya kudos to the whole team and how they were able to pull it off, na talagang maayos."
