Lahad ni James, "It was really because of the vision that she had.
"I talked to her, along with my CEO Jeff, and I asked her, 'What do you want?' And then she said, 'Oh... No one's ever asked me that before.'
"And we said, 'OK, what is it that you wanna do?' 'I wanna go Hollywood.' And we said, 'Let's make it happen.'
"And I think that's the main reason why she came on board with us because every person she met was, like, 'Oh we're gonna make you do this, do that.'
"And I think we're the first people to ask her, 'What do you want as an artist? What is your goal? What do you want to achieve?'"
Bago lumipat sa kumpanya ni James, manager ni Liza ang beteranong showbiz columnist-comedian-talent manager na si Ogie Diaz. Co-managed din si Liza noon ng Star Magic, ang talent management arm ng ABS-CBN.
Sa kasalukuyan ay paksa ng mga usap-usapan at palitan ng opinyon si Liza dahil sa mga naging pahayag niya sa kanyang vlog na lumabas kamakailan.
Sa vlog ay inihayag niya ang kung bakit siya pumirma sa management team ni James, ang reaksyon niya sa mga taong nadismaya sa kanyang paglipat ng management, at ang kagustuhan niyang magdesisyon para sa kanyang sarili.
