"Siguro good decision na rin siya. So, kahit anuman ang nangyari before, hindi ko siya nire-regret kasi mayroon akong blessing na dumarating," says Cristine Reyes about transferring from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN.

Cristine Reyes is one of the "transferees" this year, but what makes her different is that she's starring in two different teleseryes on the primetime slot.

Aside from her secondary role in Kahit Isang Saglit, Cristine gets the title role in Eva Fonda, which will open on Monday, December 1, on ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida.

Although it took a while for the show to air, Cristine said that it's worth the wait. Eva Fonda had been talked about since Cristine decided to transfer from GMA-7 to ABS-CBN in the first half of 2008. But it was Kahit Isang Saglit of Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo that came out first and Eva Fonda was re-scheduled early next year.

"Kasi gusto po nila tapusin muna 'yong taping para ma-can," Cristine explained. "Kasi, para ma-preview po ng mga bossing. Right after na-preview nila, um-okay naman kaagad."

The 19-year-old actress believes that it was a better decision. "Talagang uunahin nila ang Kahit Isang Saglit kasi second lead ako, itong Eva Fonda, lead role, so mas maganda kung ihuhuli siya."

But what can she say about having two teleseryes at the same time, which is rare for some original Kapamilya stars?

The young actress also expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN for giving her venues to show her acting skills to the public, which was not given by her former mother network.

When PEP asked if she thinks her career would be this successful if she had stayed with her former network, Cristine indirectly answered, "Well, siguro kasi, ano, e, naghihintay lang ako ng break.

Cristine does not mind the intrigue about having more projects than her older sister Ara Mina, who also used to be identified with GMA-7.

Aside from Eva Fonda, Cristine will also do another soap opera for ABS-CBN and a movie under Star Cinema.
