UPDATED Mega Manila TV Ratings (Feb. 3-8): Lalola ends on a very high note

GMA-7's gender-bending soap Lalola starring Rhian Ramos and JC de Vera ended its run last Friday, February 6, by topping the daytime race.

Lalola reached its highest rating on its final episode last Friday, February 6. The Rhian Ramos-JC de Vera starrer generated a 40 percent rating to lead all primetime shows, based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

Coming in second was Luna Mystika which got 35.5 percent; followed by Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang (33.3 percent), Gagambino (31.3 percent), and 24 Oras (29.2 percent).

Aside from the Top 5 primetime programs, the other Kapuso show that made it in the Top 10 was Money War at No. 7 with 26.9 percent.

Tayong Dalawa led the pack for the ABS-CBN programs with 28.6 percent, which is good for No. 6. Completing the 10 are the following Kapamilya shows: I Love Betty La Fea, May Bukas Pa, and Eva Fonda, which also ended its run last Friday.

Lalola also topped the primetime race last Feb. 4 (Wednesday) and Feb. 5 (Thursday) while Luna Mystika came in first place last Feb. 3 (Tuesday).

New GMA-7 soap Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang dropped to second place last Tuesday after debuting at No. 1 last Feb. 2 (Monday). It then slipped to No. 3 the rest of the week.

Gagambino and 24 Oras, on the other hand, consistently held the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

The country's longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga!, remained strong at No. 1 to lead all daytime shows last week.

Afternoon soap Saan Darating ang Umaga? also consistently held the No. 2 spot, with Wowowee and Daisy Siete alternately taking the third and four spots, respectively.

Eat Bulaga! also topped the daytime race last Saturday, February 7, with 25.1 percent; followed by Pinoy Records (20.5 percent), Wish Ko Lang (17.9 percent), Wowowee (16.8 percent), and the pilot episode of Komiks Presents Flash Bomba (16.5 percent).

The pilot episode of GMA-7's new celebrity game show My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad, hosted by Paolo Contis, last Sunday, Feb. 8, debuted at No. 1 with 28 percent.

It was followed by Kap's Amazing Stories (27 percent), Mel & Joey (23.7 percent), Rated K (21.8 percent), and The Singing Bee (19.3 percent) to complete the Top 5.

Finally, SOP topped the daytime race with 16.2 percent; followed by rival ASAP '09 with 14.4 percent.

Takeshi's Castle and Showbiz Central tied at No. 3 with identical 13.5 percent. Sunday drama anthologies Your Song Presents: Feb-Ibig and Dear Friend took the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
