"Naninibago in a way, dahil nag-concentrate ako sa reality program na Pinoy Big Brother, PDA [Pinoy Dream Academy] and Fear Factor and I'm back to doing fictional narrative, so nakakapanibago," says Director Laurenti Dyogi about directing movies again after his TV projects.

Sa ngayon, busy si Direk Lauren sa And I Love You, a Star Cinema movie starring Bea Alonzo, Sam Milby and Derek Ramsay.

"Naninibago in a way dahil nag-concentrate ako sa reality program na Pinoy Big Brother, PDA (Pinoy Dream Academy) and Fear Factor and I'm back to doing fictional narrative, so nakakapanibago. May kaunting tension, but I'm excited kung paano ako nag-mature as a director and as a person. And this movie that we are making, medyo matured din ang apoproach. It's more serious than All My Life. Hindi ito teenybopper movie."

All My Life and Now That I Have You were the two last movies of Direk Lauren which were blockbusters for Star Cinema. Galing din sa mga successful na pelikula sina Sam, Derek, at lalo na, si Bea who was even crowned Box-Office Queen for 2007 for the big success of One More Chance, kung kaya't may pressure din ang mga pangyayaring ito kay Direk Lauren.

"My last movie was five years ago, same year I had Now That I Have You with John Lloyd and Bea and All My Life with Kristine [Hermosa] and Aga [Muhlach]."

"Bea's last movie was One More Chance which was a big hit. We just try to enjoy our company, our working relationship and hopefully we come out with something magical, something romantic, and something that people would really enjoy.

"Si Bea, sa akin naman nagsimula 'yan, sa teleseryeng Kaytagal Kang Hinintay, so, we're very comfortable, except now naninibago ako.

"Si Sam, it's the first time to work with him since lumabas siya ng Bahay ni Kuya [PBB] so that's quite exciting. Nung lumabas siya ng Bahay 'tapos nag-guesting siya, yung 'rawness' niya, alam mo na mayroon siyang ibibigay which is not very common with new actors. Now he's improving his Tagalog, I know tatagal siya. I think this is his most dramatic role today. In all of the movies na ginawa niya, ito na yung pinaka-dramatic.

"Derek is a natural charmer, he's really a romantic lead, super perfect siya sa role na ibinigay ko sa kanya. Yung casting namin is very interesting and there were rapport naman. Nandun naman yung chemistry nilang tatlo, I think we have a good movie."

The job is more difficult now, kasi ang daming pagpipilian.
