Jon Avila is still under ABS-CBN's talent arm Star Magic despite signing a non-exclusive contract with the burgeoning network, TV5.
At the trade launch of the Novaliches-based network last March 25 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Jon clarified that his deal with the station has the blessing of his Star Magic bosses.
"Wala namang problema tungkol sa networks kasi pinayagan ako ng management," smiled Jon, who has been a regular of Shall We Dance for a year.
The Filipino-British actor-model actually enjoys working for both companies. Jon is part of TV5's comedy sitcom Everybody Hapi and the noontime variety show P.O.5. For ABS-CBN, Jon will be seen in Maja Salvador and Sam Milby's upcoming series Impostor.
Jon's projects with the Kapamilya network prior to Impostor include Komiks Presents: Kapitan Boom, Maging Sino Ka Man, I Love Betty La Fea, and Rubi.
His film credits include One Night Only, When Love Begins, Civil Status: Single, and Paano Na Kaya.
For the Holy Week, Jon wants to give himself a treat by visiting neighboring Asia countries. "Either Thailand or Singapore," he revealed.
Traveling abroad to observe the solemn occasion will be a different experience for Jon. "Kasi for the last two years wala akong ginagawa kundi dumalaw sa mga simbahan," smiled the hunky model.
