Naging mainit na topic among the PEPsters ang isyung nilikha ng now-controversial tweet ni Hayden Kho Jr. tungkol sa isang "billboard ad in EDSA."
Hindi nagbanggit ng anumang pangalan ang boyfriend ni Dra. Vicki Belo, pero ang sapantaha ng mga malalapit na kaibigan ni Sharon Cuneta ay ang "sexy" billboard ng Megastar para sa Marie France ang tinutukoy ng tweet.
Hindi rin kumbinsido ang mga Sharonians na walang kinalaman ang Twitter post sa kanilang idol.
January 28 ang petsa ng tweet ni Hayden: "There's a billboard ad in EDSA developed by advertisers who think consumers are stupid. Guess."
Noong nag-react ang multi-awarded actress (CLICK HERE to read related story), mabilis ding nag-react si Hayden sa Twitter. Ang post ni Hayden noong February 9 at 2:47 PM: "Wow, i wasn't referring to the MF billboard. I was referring to the "L**D" that's supposed to be a LOURDES. Dahan-dahan naman po."
Ang competitor daw ng frangrance line ni Hayden na si Joel Cruz ang pinapasaringan nito.
"LOURDES OF SCENTS" BILLBOARD. Ayon sa research, dalawa ang nai-install na billboard ng Celebrity Duets Season 2 champion. Ang isa ay noong July 20, 2010—kung saan ang mukha ni Joel ang prominenteng nakalagay, kasama ang isang tagline, ang mga salitang "Lord of Scents," at ang signature niya.
Ang pangalawa ay noong January 15, 2011—kung saan mas maliit na ang font ng pangalan at titulo ng businessman dahil mas na-highlight ang product shots ng mga perfume nito.
Medyo naguluhan si Mega sa sagot ni Hayden. Sa pamamagitan ng isang e-mail, aniya, "If Hayden really was referring to this billboard in his tweet last Jan. 28, he's more than 6 months ago too late. He could have done it last year when the 'Lord of Scents' was more prominently featured in Joel Cruz's billboard and when it was being talked about."
Dagdag pa niya, kasabay daw ng tweet ang isang article (CLICK HERE to read related story) na nailathala rin dito sa PEP tungkol sa pag-pull out umano ng "sexy" billboard ng host-singer-actress.
"I just find it too coincidental for him to tweet about a misleading billboard ad in EDSA who thinks consumers are stupid ON THE SAME DAY when the rumor of the pullout of the MF (Marie France) billboard started. And on the same day when PEP broke the news on the issue," ang pahayag ng Kapamilya star.
MARIE FRANCE'S STATEMENT. Samantala, nag-release ng official statement ang Marie France para patunayan na walang daya ang "sexy" billboard ni Sharon, at para ipagtanggol na rin ang kanilang endorser.

With the numerous tirades our endorser has been subjected to the past week, the Marie France group would like to express our unwavering support to Ms. Sharon Cuneta.
Her decision to make her weight struggle known is no mean feat. The billboard photos were a testament to the weight loss she has accomplished the past few months.
They were not, in any way, altered to make it seem like she lost more weight than she actually has. Even our photographer, Mr. Raymund Isaac can vouch for the authenticity of the photos that were released.
While it is true that everyone is entitled to his own opinion, it is a totally different ballgame when the malicious remarks made were meant to disparage the reputation of a person or a company for vested interests.
The Marie France company has always taken pride in adhering to the truth of our testimonial success stories and will never resort to gimmicks or mudslinging just to advance our interest or just to ride on somebody else's coattails or popularity.
