Remember GMA-7's Queen of Asianovela Theme Songs?

Faith Cuneta made her comeback by performing at the Araneta Coliseum recently. The Filipina singer served as the opening act for the last leg of the Michael Learns to Rock Philippine Tour, produced by Ovation Productions.

Faith, who is the second cousin of Sharon Cuneta, is known for performing "Pangarap Na Bituin," the theme song of the Korean drama Jewel in the Palace. She is also known for her renditions of "Langit Ka" for Stairway to Heaven and "Di Ko Na Kaya" for Endless Love 2: Winter Sonata.

During the Manila concert of Michael Learns to Rock, Faith gave her version of Mariah Carey's "My All" by starting out calmly then hitting the high notes throughout the song.

She then followed with Steve Perry's "Foolish Heart," prompting concertgoers to sing with her.

Faith expressed her happiness and excitement to be back on stage, performing at the Araneta Coliseum.

She explained that she went on a three-year break from showbiz. During her break, she fell in love, got married, and is now a mother to a baby boy.

That night, she acknowledged her guitarist, Bryan Fernando. Faith recalled that when she started singing, she performed in bar and hotel lounge gigs with a guitarist.

According to her, performing at the Big Dome was like "starting over again." This led her to her next song, "Starting Over Again," a Natalie Cole original.

Faith then paid tribute to Queen by belting out "Love of My Life." She also serenaded the crowd with her last single before taking a break from showbiz: the Lani Misalucha original "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin."

She ended her set with the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris"!

Faith Cuneta started her career when she won in the Metropop singing tilt in 1997 alongside Kyla and Jonard. After finishing her studies at the College of St. Benilde, she pursued her passion for performing by singing professionally in bars and hotel lounges.
