Veteran actress Gloria Romero, who just turned 75 recently, admitted that she is a big fan of Kris Aquino and enjoys watching her primetime game show Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.
"I enjoy watching Kris. She is just magnificent," she said.
Gloria also shared how she gets so involved with the show's excitement that she gets carried away and reprimands the studio players while watching at home when she feels they made the wrong decisions.
Her will to win and ability to strategize was tested by The Banker recently when she taped for KDOND on her birthday last December 16.
Will Lady Luck smile on her? Will she choose the number 16 and if so, will it contain the P1 million prize?
"I hope I get lucky since it's my birthday. I will definitely pick briefcase 16," she said in a brief interview before the taping.
If ever she wins the jackpot, Gloria intends to share the money to poor street children, the church, and to World Vision.
Gloria is currently seen in the hit primetime soap I Love Betty La Fea. She will soon be part of ABS-CBN's offering Maruja.
INDIE FILM ACTRESS.Gloria will soon be seen on the big screen when she appears as the lead character in the indie film Fuschia. Directed by Joel Lamangan, this project is one of six indie films that are part of Sine Direk. The Directors Guild of the Philippines and APT Entertainment spearheaded the APT film series that is expected to take place by January 2009.
In Fuschia, Gloria is cast as the grandmother of Iza Calzado. The film has a powerhouse cast composed of Eddie Garcia, Robert Arevalo, Celia Rodriguez, and many more.
