Pahayag ng model-actor, “I’ll be honest with you, I have this big, big admiration for Manny Pacquiao as an athlete.
“He’s the best in what he does and no doubt about that.
“Pero medyo upset ako with the way he said what he said.
“I mean, I understood what he said, but the way he said it wasn’t in a nice way.
“I think that’s why the LGBT community was really upset.
“From all the interviews—Boy Abunda, Vice Ganda... wow!
“Especially the animal thing.
“I don’t know... I’m not close to Pacquiao, so I don’t know what’s his intention in saying that.
“Pero what I can say, it wasn’t really nice.
“The way he said it wasn’t really necessary.
“If he doesn’t like or he doesn’t respect the marriage of the same sex, I think he shouldn’t have compared them to animals because we’re all human beings.
“Nobody’s better or worse than each other just because of sexual preference. That doesn’t make you better than me or me better than you.
“So, siyempre, my opinion, he could have used different ways of expressing his term.
Sagot ni Fabio, “I don’t know, e.
“As I’ve told you, I have big admiration for him as an athlete, as Manny Pacquiao, but when I heard that, I was, like, medyo hindi kailangan na ganito.
“I told even my driver in the car today na, 'You know, I respect him and everybody has different opinions, it’s normal, we’re all human beings.'
“But the term that he used to say, what’s he’s trying to say, I think, that’s mali.
“Pero, that's his opinion.”
