The airing of the much-awaited "Mega family reunion" was a huge success based on the latest TNS National TV Ratings. The first part of the special episode last June 13 landed on the Top 3 spot on the overall Sunday programs and was able to achieve a rating of 28.2% percent compared to 10.3% of the competition.
After the warm reception on the first part of the reunion episode, the musical variety show Sharon will be airing the second part this Sunday, June 20.
The much-adored love team of the '80's—Gabby Concepcion and the Megastar Sharon Cuneta—was joined by Mega daughter KC Concepcion, I'll be There co-star Jericho Rosales and Sharon's bestfriend Zsa Zsa Padilla as co-host.
KC shares that seeing her parents talk and joke with each other is a big deal already. "I prayed na mag-usap silang dalawa. Ang hirap kasi since this is still a show. Parang after nitong ilang oras na 'to, hindi na naman kami magkikita which is okay kasi masaya naman kami sa Pangilinans at masaya din naman si Papa sa family niya. Pero siyempre ang laking bagay na rin nito."
KC was proud to tell her Papa Gabby that her mother was the reason why she had no ill feelings for her dad whom she was not with for the last 13 years. In response, Gabby thanked Sharon by saying, "Thank you so much for taking care of my little baby. She grew up to be a very fine lady."
