Parenthood
, a new family drama premiering on 2nd Avenue this Friday, August 20, at 9 PM, is inspired by the hit 1989 film of the same name. Chronicling three generations of the Braverman family, from grandparents to parents to children, Parenthood illustrates the headaches, heartbreaks and joys of being a parent. Join Sarah Braverman (Lauren Graham, Gilmore Girls), a financially challenged single mother of two teenagers, who because of her money problems decides to move back home. Parenthood shows you that no matter what age you are, what you're going through, or how you see life, being a parent is like no other job on earth. This is one job you cannot walk away from.
