"Mas tiningan ko 'yong mga all out [gays], then I, I took all of those in at I contained it inside. At dito ano, nahirapan ako e, nahirapan ako," said Rocco Nacino about his role in the Cinemalaya entry film Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) got a chance to interview Rocco in the launch and presscon of YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars, earlier, July 28 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Galleria.
Rocco shared that Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa was very challenging for him because it's his first time to do such a role.
"It's hard, really hard. I have to play a gay—parang suttle gay, parang gano'n."
"Kasi there are different kinds of gay, di ba? May all-out, may closet."
"Mas tiningan ko 'yong mga all-out, then I, I took all of those in at ah I contained it inside."
"At dito ano, nahirapan ako e, nahirapan ako. Nagpaturo ako sa direktor naming si Vim Yapan kung paano gawin 'yon at during tapings lagi niya akong kinakausap kung sobra 'yong ginagawa ko o kulang."
"So mahirap pa lang maging natural, mahirap na mahirap talaga actually. But I'm really happy I got to pull it off at maraming natuwa do'n sa movie."
"It's challenging actually. Kaya ko inaccept 'yong role ko sa Sayaw dahil nga it was a big challenge for me."
"And to do another siguro mas challenging, pero siyempre may limits pa rin kasi as for my career hindi pa ako ready sa mga ganyan."

As a rising star, Rocco still dreams of having a particular role.
"I wanna be a dramatic action star. Sana, sana matupad 'yon, pangarap ko 'yon."
