Singer Arthur Manuntag, nag-collapse at in coma ngayon sa Baguio

NOEL FERRER: Habang nasa Baguio ako ngayon at umiiwas sa ASEAN traffic at activities sa Maynila, heto ang bumulagang balita ngayon-ngayon lang.

Mula kay Marinez Elizalde na manager/adviser ni Jericho Rosales at sa post din ni Rodelio Gonzalez, nanghihingi sila ng dasal para sa singer na si Arthur Manuntag.

Ang sabi sa post, “Please pray for our friend Arthur Manuntag. He collapsed during a show at Baguio and was rushed to the hospital. He was revived a few times and yet still in a coma.

"We love our dear friend and let’s pray that he will beat this one and come out a champ!"

JERRY OLEA: Tinagurian si Arthur Manuntag na Mr. Crooner at The King of Swing. Tinawag din siyang Pinoy Frank Sinatra, pero kinakanta rin niya ang mga awit nina Tony Bennett, Matt Monro, at Sammy Davis Jr.

Nagpo-front act siya sa mga mas kilalang singer, at di sinasadyang nakaw-eksena siya madalas.

Ang ganda-ganda ng version niya ng "How Do You Keep The Music Playing," "What A Difference A Day Makes," "The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me," at "Kahit Isang Saglit," na pawang mapapanood sa YouTube.

Noong Sabado ng gabi, November 11, ay sila ni Nicole Laurel Asensio ang tampok na artists sa Ferrari 70th anniversary sa Manor Hotel sa Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
