Isang debonair Dennis Trillo ang rumampa sa red carpet ng 78th Venice Film Festival noong September 10 kaya malayong-malayo ang hitsura niya sa kanyang deglamorized role bilang assassin sa On The Job: The Missing 8, ang crime thriller movie ng direktor na si Erik Matti.

In competition sa 78th Venice Film Festival ang pelikulang pinagbibidahan ng Legal Wives lead actor kaya pinaghandaan niyang mabuti ang unang pagkakataong pagdalo sa nasabing okasyon.

Ang fashion designer na si Francis Libiran ang gumawa ng suit at Barong Tagalog na dinala ni Dennis sa biyahe nito sa Venice, Italy.

Ang suit ang ginamit ni Dennis sa red carpet at base sa mga larawan na lumabas, hindi siya nagpatalo sa mga Hollywood actor na dumalo rin sa 78th International Film Festival.

Dalawang klaseng mga bagong pares ng sapatos ang bitbit ni Dennis sa Venice at si Doreen Odvina, ang CEO at Creative Director ng Shoepatos ang kinausap ng Cabinet Files para magbigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa red carpet look ng multi-awarded Filipino actor.

“We received a message from Francis Libiran team asking if we could make a custom shoes to match the suit and Barong of Dennis for the Venice International Film Festival.

“We manufactured his shoes for only 10 days just in time for his fitting at The Peninsula Manila last September 3, 2021. Talagang we rushed it for him.”

Ayon kay Doreen, ibinigay nila sa personalidad ni Dennis ang ginawa nilang Oxfords at Double Monk Straps leather shoes na nagkakahalaga ng P24,000 at P27,000 respectively.

“His custom shoes were designed according to his personality, the style of his outfits and based on the occasion itself.

“We made it in a way that it will look handsome yet minimalist both for his Oxfords and Double Monk Straps leather shoes. We even included pairs of socks to ensure a perfect look,” ani Doreen.

Nakausap din ng Cabinet Files ang manager ni Dennis na si Popoy Caritativo at may mga karagdagan siyang impormasyon tungkol sa mga damit na gagamitin ng kanyang alaga sa 78th Venice Film Festival.

“Wala akong idea sa price ng mga suits ni Francis because they were made especially for Dennis for this event.

“Francis made one suit which Dennis wore sa premiere ng On The Job and one Barong Tagalog which he will wear at the awards night.

“May ipinadala pang extra outfits si Francis in case kailangan pa ni Dennis. They were all made in two weeks.

“We only asked for one suit pero Francis was so generous because he provided Dennis with four outfits,” ang sabi ni Popoy sa Cabinet Files.

Ang business partner naman ni Francis na si Arsi Baltazar ang nagbahagi ng inspirasyon ng fashion designer sa mga disenyo ng suit at barong ni Dennis.

Ani Arsi, “Yung dalawang barong, specially embroidered iyon kasi ang aesthetic ni Francis, art deco. Ang inspiration niya palagi, yung sa mga simbahan, laging nagre-reflect from the light.

“Yung suit, yung mga art deco patterns ni Francis, ang ginawa niya, binutas niya ang tela kaya see-thru siya. Yung kulay puti, iyon ang polo shirt ni Dennis.

“Mabilis lang ginawa ang mga damit ni Dennis. Two weeks lang, ni-rush namin para sa kanya.”
