Successful singer sa Europe si Billy Crawford bago siya nagdesisyong manatili sa Pilipinas at mag-concentrate sa showbiz career niya.
Nalinya si Billy sa mga television hosting job kaya parang nakaligtaan ng mga tao na talented singer at absolute performer siya.
After ten long years, muling maglalabas ng original album si Billy, ang Work in Progress, na dedicated niya sa kanyang misis na si Coleen Garcia.
Hopefully, ang Work in Progress ang magiging instrumento para magkaroon uli si Billy ng koneksiyon sa kanyang European fans na sinuportahan ang singing career niya kaya naging superstar singer siya noon sa France, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, at Germany.
"I pray for the same thing," sabi ni Billy tungkol sa possible reconnection sa kanyang European fans sa pamamagitan ng Work in Progress.
"I also want to take it outside the country as well kasi gifted ang mga Pinoy pagdating sa talent, especially sa music industry, and I think, wala tayong ikahihiya, may ibubuga tayo.
"I am praying and excited about sa mangyayari sa album na 'to, kaya nga yung title ng album was Work in Progress dahil I have to grow up.”
Sampung taong hindi nag-release ng original album si Billy dahil naging busy ito sa kanyang mga hosting job sa iba’t ibang programa ng ABS-CBN, pero hindi siya nakaramdam ng panghihinayang.
Sabi niya, "Itong part ng buhay [as TV host] ko is very special.
"It’s been a blessing sa akin dahil binigyan ako ng opportunity na mag-host for such a long time, to learn sa craft na yun.
"Pero I stopped for almost ten years sa music.
"I’m back now and it’s because of the people that are surrounding me, even Marcus Davis [producer of Work in Progress] who, like, literally did the entire album.
"Kung mabenta man siya o hindi, this is the album that I really put my heart and soul into.
"And I’m really excited para marinig ninyong lahat because yung 'Filipina Girl,' right now, is fresh for everyone.
"Pero apart from 'Filipina Girl,' this album is something I’m proud of."
Hindi pa naglalabas ng announcement tungkol sa exact date of release ng bagong album ni Billy, pero may mga umaasang mailalabas ito bago idaos sa April 5, 2019 ang The Cr3w, ang major concert nila nina James Reid at Sam Concepcion sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
