DFA nag-open ng 177,500 passport appointment slots sa publiko

Nagbukas ang Department of Foreign Affairs ng karagdagang 177,500 passport appointment slots na magiging available hanggang sa katapusan ng September.

Nagbukas ang Department of Foreign Affairs ng limang special off-site locations sa National Capital Region noong July 7, 2021 para sa karagdagang 177,500 passport appointment slots sa mga nakatira sa NCR Plus area.

Ayon kay Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Brigido J. Dulay, ang DFA Temporary Offsite Passport Services (TOPS) offices ay matatagpuan sa mga sumusunod na malls:

  1. Robinsons Place Magnolia
  2. Robinsons Place Las Piñas
  3. SM Mall of Asia
  4. SM City North Edsa
  5. SM Aura

Dagdag pa ni Dulay, “The DFA is aware of the demand for passport appointment slots during the pandemic and so we prepared a temporary expansion of our consular operations in off-site locations to address this need while maintaining health and safety protocols.”

Ang appointment slots sa limang TOPS ay maaaring ma-access sa www.passport.gov.ph, ang online appointment system website ng DFA.

Ang bawat TOPS site ay kayang tumanggap ng 500 appointments kada araw, at open mula Lunes hanggang Sabado.

May kabuuang 177,500 karagdagang passport appointment slots ang magiging available hanggang sa katapusan ng buwan ng September sa DFA’s online appointment system, bukod pa sa regular appointment slots sa main office nito sa Aseana Business Park, Bradco Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Parañaque City, at sa mga consular offices sa buong bansa.

Bukas din ang TOPS offices para sa Courtesy Lane clients gaya ng mga OFWs na may valid o existing contracts, senior citizens, pregnant applicants, children below 7 years old, persons with disabilities, at solo parents.

Ang Courtesy Lane clients ay maaari ring mag-email sa oca.cl@dfa.gov.ph.

Magbubukas din ang DFA ng TOPS sites sa iba pang rehiyon sa bansa na mataas ang demand para sa passport appointments.

Ipinayo naman ng kagawaran na ngayong may naibigay na silang additional appointment slots, dapat iwasan ng mga passport applicants ang mga grupo o individual na nagbebenta ng passport appointment slots o nag-o-offer ng appointment-setting assistance na may bayad.

“We advise applicants to avoid falling prey to online fraudsters and scammers who are taking advantage of the situation by charging hefty fees,” ayon pa kay Dulay.

Nilinaw niya na ang passport appointment slots ay libre at available lang sa pamamagitan ng official website ng DFA.
