MMDA nagbukas ng repair station sa EDSA para sa bike, motorcycle

Tutulungan ng Metro Manila Development Authority personnel na trained sa bike and motorcycle repair ang mga bikers at riders na aabutan ng aberya sa daan.

Binuksan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ngayong June 16, 2022 ang isang motorcycle and bicycle repair station sa EDSA.

Matatagpuan sa ground level ng Quezon Avenue flyover, ito ay aalalay sa mga riders at cyclists na mangangailangan ng emergency road assistance.

Bukas ito mula 5:00 a.m. hanggang 9:00 p.m. araw-araw.

Mamanduhan ang repair station ng trained MMDA personnel at tutulong ang mga ito sa mga masisiraang motorsiklo at bisikleta.

May mga available repair at vulcanizing tools din.

Ito na ang ikatlong MMDA repair station. Ang dalawa pa ay nasa EDSA at Roxas Boulevard.

Ayon kay MMDA Chairman Attorney Romando Artes, “The thrust of this project is to provide free space and assistance in cases where emergency repairs are needed, rather than towing the vehicles outright.

“The only time the vehicle will be towed is when it is beyond repair.”

Nagpahayag ng suporta si Congressman-elect Bonifacio Bosita ng 1Rider Partylist sa proyekto ng MMDA.

“This will surely make the rider community happy since they now have a place to go to in case they need emergency repairs.”

Sinabi pa ni Artes na magtatayo pa ang MMDA ng maraming motorcycle and bicycle repair stations sa iba’t ibang strategic locations sa Metro Manila na madalas daanan ng mga nagbibisikleta at nagmomotorsiklo.

Plano rin ng ahensiya na palawigin ang proyekto para naman sa mga four-wheel vehicles.
