Singer-composer Odette Quesada's recent Hopeless Romantic concert not only broke attendance records. Part of the concert's proceeds were earmarked for the ongoing rehabilitation of evacuees displaced by the Taal volcano eruption.

Ito ang unang birthday at homecoming show ni Odette sa Pilipinas after about 20 years. Ang huling birthday niya rito ang pagkamatay ng kanyang lola na binisita niya sa bandang Santa Rosa, Laguna noong nag-alburoto at pumutok ang bulkang Taal.

Dahil dito, naging mas makabuluhan ang birthday concert ni Odette with guests Kuh Ledesma, Sharon Cuneta, Arman Ferrer, Martin Nievera at Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.

Nagkaroon ng fund drive at donation among the concertgoers simula nang awitin ang kanta ni Odette na "You’re My Home" na siyang love song niya sa Pilipinas.

Kaya congratulations, Odette, dahil sa iyong successful at makabuluhang pagtatanghal.

Sa uulitin!

GORGY RULA: Sana magtatagal pa rito si Odette at makagawa pa siya ng love songs na bagay sa mga may hugot na pang-millennial.

Para naiiba naman sa nauusong parang bumubulong na lasing na pagkanta.

Malaking bagay ring may naiambag ang ganitong concert sa mga nasalanta ng bulkang Taal.

Kailangan pa talaga dahil mukhang tatagal pa sila sa evacuation centers at malaking halaga pa talaga ang kailangan para matustusan silang lahat.
