Noon pang April 25 dumating sa Pilipinas mula Egypt si Miss Eco International 2020 1st runner-up Kelley Day.

“And actually, I was really affected because a lot of the bashing comments were coming from the Philippines.

“So, I told my team back in the Philippines na I know where my strengths are as a candidate.

“For me, it was really the interviews, the communication with people. Maybe not so much yung pasarela, yung walking, that’s not my strength.

“I’ll be with the GMA project for now, and let’s see po the TV5 project if it’s gonna continue. Pero for now, standby muna iyan.”

We cannot really turn a blind eye sa COVID situation kahit saan—kahit sa beauty pageants.

Pa-cute na lang (o pag-iingat ni Kelley Day) ang ayaw pag-usapan ang COVID situation sa pageant, pero she could have made a better impact had she spoken her mind about it.

Sayang, she missed an opportunity.

Sayang kung inakala niyang strength niya ang interview portion at communications with the people, then she’d keep her mouth shut on relevant issues.

Now, we separate noise from relevance; fluff from valuable insights.

Yes, sana, Kelley… bumawi ka.
