Lahad ni Diego: "Because of what happened to me, I can help," pakli ni Diego.

"May plano naman po kami. Kaso, sobrang aga pa or me to mention it or to say na it’s sure.

"If anyone who wants to listen or anyone who wants to be listened to. Minsan it’s not more on listening, e, it’s you want to be heard, e.

"Sometimes people want someone to talk to and vent out their emotions na magpaliwanag sila. I’m open, definitely I’m open."

"We’ve always been close and they’re getting older na and I’m getting older, nasa young adult phase already, siyempre nag-iba na yung mga interests nila.

"As kuya, I’m giving them advice, pero at the same time, hinahayaan ko na lang sa lahat to become the people they want to be.

"Hindi naman puwedeng masakal. Hindi naman puwedeng ganun. Siyempre, hindi naman yun tama.

"No matter what, they will always have my support, the same with they always support me," masayang kuwento ni Diego.

"Yes, of course! I’m waiting for the day. Basta ano siya… walang magagalit at walang may ma-upset, or walang masasaktan, let it be.

"There’s no problem with that for me," sabi ni Diego.

"Siguro mahirap bilang… I’m not a parent. Pero my capacity lang, yung understanding ko, I would think it’s hard to try and understand na yung anak niya, may pinagdadaanan na ganun, and never pa niya naranasan sa mismong buhay niya.

"Siyempre, it would be difficult na kailangan din niyang mag-seek ng advice on how to deal with that.

"I couldn’t ask for a better mom. I couldn’t ask for a better way of how she dealt to how I went through before, because she did everything in her power that she could to help me and help herself in the process also.

"I love my mom for that. Sobra.”

Work is definitely a good diversion sa isolation na nararanasan natin ngayong pandemya.

And because mental health issues are real, tama si Diego Loyzaga na kailangan natin ng makikinig at uunawa sa atin.

Diego had to learn the hard way. I guess he knows better and things are better with him at yung mga nakakahalubilo niya.
