“One day bago ang last shooting day, ipinakita namin sa kanya ang na-shoot namin.

Marami pang ibang banyagang pelikula ang naka-line up hanggang next year.

Bahagi ng official statement ng MTRCB sa Facebook page nila: “Various Cinemas/Movie theaters situated within and outside Metro Manila will finally re-open its doors to moviegoers on 10 November 2021, following the downtrend in coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.

“Enclosed in this press statement is a listing of Cinemas that will be operational on November 10th sourced from the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines, the list is updated as of 01 November 2021 and from the Nood Tayo ng Sine Facebook page of the Film Development Council of the Philippines, updated as of 29 October 2021.

“The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) approved of the recommendation to de-escalate the National Capital Region to Alert level 2 from Alert level 3, in its resolution dated 04 November 2021, taking effect today 05 November 2021 until 21 November 2021.

“As more Cinemas and Movie theaters move to open its doors to the public, we encourage all moviegoers to strictly observe minimum public health standards while keeping in mind the MTRCB film ratings as guide when choosing age-appropriate film content.

“In closing, the MTRCB affirms its policy of respect and deterrence to government instrumentalities operating within the framework of their mandates as dictated by law.

“In the case of the resumption of Cinema operations, it shall be the IATF-MEID and the Local Government Units who shall determine implementing guidelines to uphold health and safety controls for the viewing public.”

Ang nasabing statement ay pirmado ng MTRCB Executive Director II at Spokesperson na si Jose Benjamin A. Benaldo. Ibinahagi iyon ng Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) sa kanilang Facebook page.

Nag-post din ang CEAP sa FB nitong Nobyembre 7, Linggo ng tanghali, “In response to the pandemic, the cinemas have developed the ‘SA SINE SAFE KA’ — a science and experience-based set of health & safety protocols, in compliance with the guidelines set by the national and local government, that are ready for implementation once the cinemas re-open on November 10.

“These protocols demonstrate a serious, comprehensive effort by movie theaters to identify potential risks and reduce or eliminate them.

“Your health & safety are our no. 1 priority!”

As of now kasi, medyo wait and see pa rin ang attitude ng ating local producers in showing their films.
