Bukod sa Darna, heto at bumubungad sa atin ang isang bagong serye na produced ng Viu na ka-level ng mga prime series ng ibang platform, titled K-Love.
It’s a Filipino series made for Korean drama fans by filmmakers in Hollywood. It is a story that will resonate through the hearts of all the K-drama fans out there as each character’s persona slowly unfolds throughout the series.
Di ba’t halos lahat tayo’y nakaka-identify dito?
The team behind K-Love is mainly led by series creator Corinna Vistan, a Marvel Studios executive. Corinna worked on 19 of the 29 Marvel films that have been released, was awarded a Gold Clio for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and bagged a Silver Telly in 2016 and 2017 for Doctor Strange and Thor: Ragnarok.
De kalibre, di ba?
Kasama rin si Ian Takahashi, whose previous credits include The Suicide Squad 2, Hillbilly Elegy, Harry Styles’ music video "Falling," Beyonce’s "Lemonade," to name a few. He is the show’s cinematographer. He also won a Clio for Best Cinematography for a Kaiser Permanente advertisement for NBA Star Stephen Curry.
The team also includes former editor-in-chief for Summit Publications Tara Sering, under whose belt produced books and novels in recent Philippine history specializing in contemporary women’s fiction.
Tweet Sering, a best-selling author whose novels include Wander Girl, which was named “One of Best Philippine Books” by the Manila Critics Circle and recipient of the Carlos Palanca Writers Memorial Award, for advancements in Philippine Literature.
Script Development Executive Lea Dizon, who was previously an executive for the Walt Disney Studios, worked with a children’s animation series Valt the Wonder Deer which played multiple seasons in the US and China.
Katherine Visconti, who was a writer for shows like Keifer Sutherland’s Designated Survivor, CBS’s FBI, and NBC’s Chicago PD, has lent her talents to this pioneering series.
The wardrobe will be headed by fashion stylist and current Vogue Philippines fashion editor Pam Quiñones.
Rounding up the crew is Bobby Yan, a seven-time Emmy Awards winner as producer and editor for MLB Tonight on MLB Network. He is also a member of the ABC Disney Directing Fellowship and worked on TV shows like Agents of Shield, Showtime’s The Chi, and Netflix’s The Politician.

Iza plays the role of Tish, a brand strategist with a successful career and a thriving business who battles the constant pressure of settling down and having a family. A life-changing event in her life made her rethink her ambitions and eventually aimed for something bigger than what she already had in life.
Isabelle portrays Shiela, a full-time mom and wife with a competitive spirit. She yearn for the similar achievements she had back in the day and pursue absolute perfection in all aspects of her life.
Sue brings to life the character of Val, a young Fil-Am entrepreneur who is eager to tackle the tech world despite all the challenges of being a female start-up entrepreneur in a sometimes male-dominated and cliquish society.
Theater actress Gabby plays the role of Frances, a supremely idealistic, quirky, intelligent woman who refuses to settle for the average boy. Frances’s love for K-drama and her parents’ picture-perfect marriage is why she reserves herself for the ultimate Oppa, a man that can match the traits of the perfect K-drama leading man.
Jake plays Jay, the son of a wealthy tycoon who tries to carve out his own path and build a name for himself without having to live under the shadow of his father.
As the story unfolds, K-Love is set to take on a journey filled with growing friendships, budding romance, inevitable chaos, and life-long lessons.
