Hindi lang tuwing Disyembre may Metro Manila Film Festival, pati tuwing summer, meron na rin!
Sinimulan na nung April 2, 2023 ang first Summer Metro Manila Film Festival sa pamamagitan ng isang isang maikling seremonya at Parade of Stars sa Quezon City.
Pinangunahan nina Metro Manila Development Authority at Metro Manila Film Festival Chairperson Don Artes at Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte ang opening ceremony pagkatapos ay umandar na ang mga "float" ng walong pelikulang kasali sa festival, sakay ang mga bituin nito.
Panoorin ang coverage ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entetainment Portal) sa Summer MMFF opening kunsaan nakuhanan pa ang batian ng estranged couple na sina Aljur Abrenica at Kylie Padilla.
