Christopher and Sandy: Forever in Love

The drama king's greatest performance is playing the role of real-life husband to his real-wife Sandy.

Sandy, every bit the glowing bride, was in a cowl-neck, A-line wedding gown by Lya Armovit. Boyet, hamming it up for the camera, was in a classic two-piece suit and inner vest by JunJun Cambe. The two got married on March 27, 2001 at the Caleruega Retreat House inTagaytay.

At the wedding of Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong, balikbayan and barkada were among the special guests.

Their son, Rafael Sandino, at the time already an 18-year-old high-school senior in New York, came home to be the Bible bearer. Boyet's mother, Lilia Dizon, herself a superstar in the 1950s, flew in from California. And the newlyweds' high-power barkada, including original members of the Bad Bananas, partied until the wee small hours of the morning!
