Penshoppe reinvents street fashion for its mid-year collection

Club Pen models strut the new stuff of the said clothing brand.

With Manila cityscapes as backdrop, Penshoppe unveils its mid-year collection through a fashion show called Stylescape: Manila on May 30 at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

The clothing brand gives street fashion an overhaul with Club Pen models—namely Victor Basa, Solenn Heusaff, Akihiro Sato, Melissa Ricks, Matteo Guiducelli, and JC Tiuseco—showcasing its latest styles and designs on the runway.

Comfort and wearability become the main point of the said fashion show. Brand director Alex Mendoza relates, "It's very urban, it's very street-bearable, so we're hoping to inspire people to start dressing up on the street."

He also relates that it's easy to mix and match with their new styles: "Lahat ng tao makakita ng trend, kaniya-kanyang interpretation na lang. We're trying to give them pieces that they can mix together kasi alam naman nating lahat ng tao bumibili sa lahat ng brand. So iyung ginagawa namin, pwede mo ring haluin sa sarili naming brand or sa ibang brands din."
