"By confidence with what she is wearing is probably what makes a person fashionable. Parang fashion is so hard to describe now because there's so much going on, there's so much fashion available. It's what you put together and how you feel about it that would make it look fashionable. Sometimes, you can be in a white T-shirt and in jeans, in simple clothes, but if you know how to spice it up, because you have confidence and you know how to pull it off definitely would make you fashionable," Angel says.

On the night of the US Girls August Awards, Angel Aquino is dressed glamorously yet again, just like her character in ABS-CBN's primetime program Magkaribal.
Wearing an aquamarine cocktail dress from Coco Go, four-inch stilettos from Gaucho, plus an accessory from Jewelmer, Angel says that she relies heavily on the stylist for her clothes in Us girls and Magkaribal.
She reveals that her fashion style is simple and laid back. "The only time that I put my own clothes together is when I do my segment. So, if you notice when I'm doing my segment, mas simple yung mga damit ko. It's because that's my own style. So that would be the clothes I'm more comfortable in. I know that I look good in them. I don't really experiment in fashion a lot. I don't experiment in trends," Angel explains.
But as a celebrity she always makes sure to look dressed and put-together in events and when in front of people. "I do my part of giving honor to the event by dressing up," the former model says.
She draws inspiration from former co-host Daphne Osena-Paez for her fashion style. "She could be in a black dress and she would look so fashionable. Tapos, she'd pair it with really nice shoes and pear accessories. She look so put-together. She's the one who inspired me to dress up sometimes," Angel shared with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview right after the event that night.
Angel confesses that most of the time, she shops for her kids and borrows the stuff from them. Top Shop, Tyler and Ilaya are some of her favorite brands. She also stresses that as much as possible, she likes buying local brands. It's her way of supporting them, she says.
As for the color palettes, she now sticks to blacks and grays, in contrast to when she was younger and fond of colorful wardrobe. "Then as you get wiser, you choose clothes that you can wear any time of the day. And you won't have any problem if you'll feel good in them or not because hindi na sila mahirap pag-isipian. Usually, greys, black, whites are medyo delicate pa nga eh. Whites would always make you feel fresh,"advises the model turned actress who has been in the business of fashion for years.
