On July 11, the hottest and most talented stars in showbiz gathered at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon City, for the annual reveal of YES! magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars.
Topping the list is AlDub, the first couple to land the special issue's cover.
Jo-Ann Maglipon wrote in her Ed's Note, "Once in a rare while comes a phenomenon that rocks in a showbiz. Well, because if there is one word to define showbiz, apart from glamorous and magical, that would be blase.
"Somehow, when it's beautiful people who mess with us—whether it's to stun us with their brilliance onscreen or blunders off in—we just love to watch.
"Then comes AlDub.
"Suddenly, we are surprised.
"This chemistry hasn't hit the scene since Guy & Pip, and that was in the 70's!
"What they have become is an accident, an accident so welcome to so many who wanted romance and innocence and freshness back, it turned them into a beautiful phenomenon and threw blase out of showbiz."
