The country's premiere band, Side A, is back with a brand new video for their brand new digital exclusive single under MCA Music, "Die Just A Little."
"Die Just A Little" features the five band members in a soaring ode about love lost, depicting each member's unique vision of falling out of love. The theme of heartbreak and heartache is recurrent, and is seen through each member's eyes. The music video was directed by Treb Monteras.
"Die Just a Little" is Side A's first original track in six years. The song holds much of the same unabashed sentimentality of Side A hits of the last decade. But the band keeps up with the times by releasing "Die Just a Little" as an exclusive digital single, which fans can download exclusively through Fliptunes (www.fliptunes.net), an online digital music retailer, and on mobile cellphones through mp3tone.ph via WAP.
In the 90s, everyone wanted to fall in love with Side A's music playing in the background. Who can forget how "Forevermore" served as the soundtrack to countless marital unions, or how "Until Then" mirrored just how legions of lovelorn folks felt? Side A was the voice through which Pinoy romantics could hear themselves, their melodies the sweet salve to their own strongly-held sentiments.
Now, Side A is back with a new lineup, a new record label, and a new original song that reminds us just what endeared the band to us in the first place.
