Pasang Krus, which stars Rosanna Roces, earned a Grade "B" from the Cinema Evaluation Board. This indie film directed by Neal "Buboy" Tan is currently being shown in SM Cinemas in time for the Holy Week.
During the April 5 episode of The Buzz, Boy Abunda asked Osang (Rosanna's nickname) to explain why she agreed to be nailed to a cross for real instead of relying on prosthetics.
"Una sinuggest ni Direk," she pointed out.
She found that the timing was perfect. "At that time, malapit na manganak si Grace, so siyempre meron din tayong problemang dinadala so sabi ko why not give it [being nailed to a cross]a try pero hihingi ako ng kapalit.
One cut lang kami so andito pagaling na siya [points to her wound on her palm], ganito pala yun madali pala siya gumaling."
FUTURE DIRECTOR. After the release of her latest indie film, Osang revealed her plans to become a director.
"Oo, Malamang yung next film naming ni Direk Neal Tan, which is Baklas, ito yung mga nagbebenta ng kidney na napapanahon, ngayon lalo na sa mga hold-up."
The former sexy actress also narrated how she is preparing for her next career move.
PROUD GRANDMOTHER. Boy asked Osang what is the source of her positive aura nowadays. She said with a smile, "Unang una may bago akong apo, siyempre pagka may bagong blessing sa buhay namin, bagong extension ng buhay ko yun."
Osang is known for her feistiness, especially when it comes to defending her children. Why is she so upfront when it already involves her offsprings?
The Buzz host then told Osang, "Ang ganda mo ngayon. May nagpapaganda ba sa 'yo?" Osang quipped, "Meron, si Dr. Calayan. Hahaha!" referring to the cosmetic surgeon that she endorses.
"Merong bang special?" but this time Osang said, "Happy and with him again."
