"The man of many quotes," that's how Mo Twister introduced Jomari Yllana during his "Gimme Mo" segment last Sunday, July 26, on the GMA-7 showbiz talk show Showbiz Central.
He made a comment about you at nagalit ka. How are now now? Are you in the point na nakausap mo na si Martin and are you interested in patching things up with him?
"Siyempre, unang-una, siguro tayo,
tao lang tayo. We make mistakes in life. Dumadaan ‘yan, nagiging pagsubok ‘yan
sa life natin.
pinagdadaanan mo sa buhay, you learned from it and whatever mistakes you've made
in the past, matuto ka for you to become a better person.
"Kapag nalagpasan mo yun, that's
when you realized you've moved on and you've learned a lot and you tried to be
the best person you can be. At yung sa akin, it's been said and
done. Kung anuman yung pinagdaanan namin in the past, it's the past, tapos na
siya."
Kung makita mo si Martin tomorrow,
what would be the situation?
"You know, it's something that you
cannot predict. And it's something you cannot plan. There's only one way to find
out, when it happens."
Would you say at this point, galit
Kumbaga, we both said our piece.
I hope, he feels the same."
Before you and Pops broke-up, was
there a time when you considered marrying her?
"Yung marriage part, it's something
really big. I mean, coming from...dati rin akong may asawa, ‘di
ba? ‘Yung marriage part, hindi ganoon kalinaw. Pero noong kami ni
Pops, I really thought, she'll be the last.
"Yung sa akin, pakiramdam ko talaga
parang last stop ko na siya, e. Pero unfortunately, it didn't work out."
If you'll look back, sa relationship
n'yo ni Pops, would you consider yourself a very good boyfriend?
"If I will look back, siyempre,
nagkaka-edad na rin tayo. But I can honestly say, with Pops, I was at my
best."
You we're married before, of course,
with Aiko Melendez and it didn't end well. Now that you're single, do you see
yourself having the ability marrying again? If yes, what are the
things that you have to change para lang maging successful ang next marriage
mo?
"Ako, yung marriage, ang hirap
tingnan, e.
"Siyempre, marami kang...I'm not so sure, if it's about changing yourself but
finding the right match or the right partner for you.
"I still believe, there's one person
there na pinakababagay sa akin. And siguro, kapag pinagdasal mo lang yun,
darating din yun."
Are you dating right now?
"Hindi, e...I'm not dating. Puro trabaho. Puro work. I don't know. Maybe, sooner or later, I'll come out and date again."
What are your next plans after bringing David Cook and David Archuleta to Manila?
"We're very busy bringing talents,
big one, big artist. Malaki or maliit
We plan on bringing it three or four
times a year, so, medyo nakakapagod."
In fact, Jomari is now part of the team that will be bringing in
Marie Digby, the newest YouTube sensation.
"This one, it's more intimate but
it's gonna be a special show. Ako nga, nag-iisip kung sino ang
contemporary niya rito, pop na rock na acoustic na maganda."
