An intricate fusion of song, dance, and visual history, the celebration begins with a musical account tracing GMA-7's history—from its inception in the 1950s to its evolution towards becoming one of the country's largest media conglomerates today.
The Kili TV Group comes next with a theatrical showdown showcasing cherished comedic moments and beloved characters from past and present sitcoms and gag shows on the network. This segment promises to keep everyone in stitches while looking back on GMA-7's colorful comedy timeline.
After the Comedy Group, the team responsible for creating primetime hits and unforgettable characters takes centerstage. Composed of the Telebabad and Sinenovela Block, the Drama Groupwill present once more some of the programs that have made it in the annals of television drama in a touching and star-studded production number.
The GMA News and Public Affairs Team celebrates 50 years of unparalleled news delivery and dedication to service in a symphony of sound and history. This special presentation will also showcase the various technological advances and infrastructures that the Kapuso network has acquired, so far.
Other highlights of the evening include a collaboration of song-and- dance numbers by GMA-7's constellation of stars, a presentation about GMA Pinoy TV recognizing its ever-increasing international reach, and the much-awaited announcement of the upcoming Kapuso programs for the rest of 2010.
