Singer-actress Lovi Poe bares some skin in GMA-7's afternoon soap opera, Little Star.
Lovi's character, Gwyneth, is a singing sweetheart who is being manipulated by her own mother. Eventually, she realizes she has to break free from her "stage mother," if she wants to save her languishing career.
Gwyneth reinvents herself and reaches for the top, while she hides a deep, dark secret. She will do everything and anything to regain her lost glory.
Lovi talks about her daring role in the forthcoming episodes of Litle Star: "It will be a different and more mature Lovi," says the actress who is set to star in a remake of Temptation Island, as well as GMA-7's forthcoming primetime show, Captain Barbell.
Little Star, which airs weekdays on GMA-7, is topbilled by Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Anthony Fernandez. Its rival show on ABS-CBN is Precious Hearts Romances presents Alyna, which is topbilled by Shaina Magdayao.
